Situation
Monark had already invested in a website. A big agency in Argentina built it, and on paper that should've been enough. But the website didn't speak to who Monark was, didn't clearly explain what they actually did, and had a user flow that gave people no real reason to keep scrolling. For a fintech platform operating in the private assets space, that was a problem they couldn't ignore. They decided it was time for a full overhaul and came to us.
Problem
Monark sits in a complex space. They provide trading platforms access to private assets like art, pre-IPO companies, and other alternative investments through their API. That's not a one-line explainer. The previous website made no real attempt to solve that, leaving visitors confused about where Monark sits in the workflow and why it matters.
Consideration
We started by refining their branding, tightening up the identity before touching a single page layout. From there we built a custom 3D animation for the hero section that did what no paragraph of copy could, it visually mapped exactly how Monark works. Private assets connecting through nodes to the Monark logo, flowing out to trading platforms and end users. Clear, captivating, and impossible to misread. Every section that followed was designed to pull users further down the funnel. Custom assets, a deliberate user flow, nothing that didn't earn its place on the page.
Result
Shortly after launching the rebuilt website, Monark raised $8.1M in a successful Series A. The VC firm that led the round, Forum VC, were impressed enough that we became their web partner off the back of it. A better website won't always move the needle on fundraising. But when your website finally speaks to who you are and what you do with clarity and confidence, investors notice. Monark is proof of that.
