"We had a clear vision for how Eqra should feel and a high bar for whoever we trusted with it. V3 exceeded our expectations and were a pleasure to work with throughout.”

Situation
Eqra is an app for daily Islamic practice. Prayer reminders, a verse of the Quran each day, the small things that keep a routine consistent. They needed a website that could introduce the app to people who had never heard of it and get them to download, without feeling like a religious app from 2014.
Problem
Apps in this space usually go one of two ways. Either the site is plain and functional and nobody remembers it, or it leans so hard into ornament that it stops being usable. Eqra wanted the opposite of both: something animated and modern that still felt approachable and calm. And they had a lot of features to cover, which is where most app sites turn into a wall of screenshots.
Consideration
We built the whole site around one continuous idea instead of a feature list. The hero opens with a phone and a few floating widgets showing the core features at a glance. As you scroll, the screens inside the phone move up while the phone itself travels down the page, so you're being walked through the app rather than shown a gallery of it. The phone eventually settles into a bento grid where the remaining features fill in around it. One object, one motion, the whole product explained by the time you reach the bottom.
Result
Eqra launched with a site that explains the product without a single paragraph of feature copy, and gives a small app the presence of a much bigger one. The team loved it.
