Situation
AGC backs the companies building the AI era. Anthropic and ElevenLabs on the model and application side, Groq, CoreWeave and GMI Cloud on compute and silicon, Field AI in robotics, Colossal Biosciences out at the edge of frontier science. Mid to late stage venture and structured credit, licensed out of Abu Dhabi, deploying globally. Serious portfolio, serious firm. You'd never have guessed it from their website.
Problem
The old site was outdated and didn't come close to the scale they operate at. It read like a firm you'd never heard of, not one sitting on the cap tables of the most important companies in AI. And their whole thesis is that they don't invest on the surface, they go deep into every layer of the intelligence stack. That's a hard idea to land, and a wall of logos will never say it for you.
Consideration
They invest at the frontier of intelligence, so we ran with the word frontier. The page opens in space, then drops you into the ocean. As you scroll you sink deeper, each depth another layer of the stack. That transition from space into water is the moment the whole thing clicks, so we spent most of our time getting it right. One page, no filler, custom animations the whole way down.
